CESP at ASI 2026 in Venice
CESP will take part in the 2026 edition of the ASI Conference in Venice. On this occasion, two presentations will highlight CESP’s expertise on key issues in audience measurement.
New systems, new developments
On November 4th, 2026, Olivier Daufresne, Associate Director at CESP, will join Dr Derrick Gray, Chief Research & Operations Officer at Numeris, to present the paper “Hybrid radio measurement: from validation to implementation”, as part of the “New systems, new developments” session.
Derrick and Olivier will explore the evolution of hybrid radio measurement and its role in modernising local radio audience measurement in Canada. They will present insights into the methodology, objectives and findings from the 22-market parallel run, and illustrate how the integration of survey and streaming census data enhances audience coverage. The lessons learned outline the roadmap for the future of audio measurement innovation.

On the same day, Valérie Morrisson, Managing Director at CESP, will share the floor with Ross Wightman from RSMB during to present the paper “Black boxes, big money and blind trust: why media measurement needs independent audit”, as part of the “From black boxes to broadcasters: who do we trust now?” session.

As audience measurement evolves beyond relatively transparent panel-based currencies into more complex systems, industry trust can no longer be assumed – it must be earned. The advertising industry is increasingly dependent on third-party measurement solutions that are often difficult to understand, inspect or validate. How can audit and validation frameworks support greater transparency, accountability, privacy protection and governance, building stronger confidence that measurement outputs are robust, impartial and fit for purpose?
